The provided example will demonstrate the use of the FFT. In the example, a simple sine wave with period 256 and magnitude ± 16384 and an image width of 2048 pixels is generated.
VisualApplets 的實作非常簡單。正弦波輸入會轉發至 FFT 運算子。 所得的實部與虛部會平方並相加。 因此輸出為平方絕對值。 結果在 x = 8 處顯示預期的峰值，亦即週期為 2048 / 8 = 256。 與 Matlab FFT 計算的比較顯示，在相同的精度範圍內結果非常相似。 H-Box "DynamicReduceResolutionFFTOut" 用於平移結果並降低其解析度。對於給定的正弦波而言，這並非必要，但對於其他需求則是一個選項。
